The Band
K-House is a flexible jazz group based in Exeter, built for warm live music without a difficult setup or a fixed-size footprint.
We perform jazz standards, adaptations, and originals across a range of classic and modern jazz styles. The group is modular rather than fixed: different 3-7 performer lineups can fit the room, budget, and occasion.

Repertoire & Events
We shape the set around the room: background dinner music, a focused listening set, a jam-friendly evening, or a lively private occasion. Rates are on a reasonable sliding scale depending on lineup, travel, setup, and event type.
Jazz Standards
Songbook tunes, swing, ballads, bebop, and familiar melodies.
Adaptations & Originals
Arrangements, original tunes, modern jazz textures, and flexible instrumentation.
Private Events
Compact live music for dinners, parties, receptions, and special gatherings.
Jam Sessions
House-band support, guest sit-ins, tune calling, and an informal session structure.
Typical sets draw from classic jazz standards, Brazilian and Latin tunes, ballads, blues, modern jazz, and a small number of originals or unusual adaptations. For private events we keep the music accessible and room-appropriate; for listening sets and jam sessions we can stretch further.
Recent repertoire has included familiar standards such as There Will Never Be Another You, On Green Dolphin Street, Beautiful Love, Take Five, and Round Midnight, alongside more modern or original material.
